ejcw ambient and beyond sounds skillfully crafted, buiding tension with intervals of soothing sighs, rather gorgeous. Favorite track: Marine Life.

taschuklevi This is a gorgeous ambient and atmospheric album that successfully evokes the concept around which its based (The Deep). There is so much variety and creativity on this album - from Marine Life to Under The Storm - its well worth listening from start to finish to experience the evocation in its fullness. Favorite track: Marine Life.

unruh2525 The Lonely Bell is - or should be - one of the most highly regarded new ambient artist. His earlier work painted flawless portraits of lonely landscapes and hearts with complete originality. This new one takes on the sea with equal success and a vaster sonic palette to equal his subject. Possibly the best aquatic-themed music I’ve heard. Favorite track: Kingdoms Of The Deep.

about

'Kingdoms of the Deep' is a deep sea ambient concept album - a dark underwater journey into a cold watery abyss. In this album, The Lonely Bell experimented with various synths, guitars and organic oceanic sound recordings to create murky underwater sounds/frequencies, which eventually morphed and evolved into an interesting atmosphere and foundation for a cold dark ambient/drone album.

This is the story of a tragedy at sea, and a vast mysterious unexplored world… but it’s also a metaphor for something much more deep and personal to the artist.

''Absolutely mesmerizing'' - Kate Bosworth, Dark Train (Radio Show)

''Enormous sprawling soundscapes of impenetrable darkness and aquatic wonder that evokes both the terrifying vastness of the ocean and the loneliness of existence.
It is the soundtrack to slowly sinking into a cold hopeless abyss with no hope of rescue... yet it's oddly comforting and undeniably beautiful. A deep dark oceanic masterpiece. Highly recommended.'' - Fog Songs

''A submersible endeavor that chronicles life in the vast blue wonder...an awesome interpretation of the incessant realms of bleak fluidity.
The Lonely Bell is an unparalleled artist that isn’t afraid to venture into other sonic domains to expand the gift of drone music. Creating a subsurface adventure through audial sequences, our ears are afforded the opportunity to navigate uncharted territories as we glide through the depths of vast waters, armed with our imagination...
Let ‘Kingdoms Of The Deep’ become your guide through liquid darkness and enjoy the journey along the way.'' - The Dungeon In Deep Space

''Stories of worlds we cannot reach, of those roaming deep in the sea, told through graceful, gentle, yet haunting melodies appearing and disappearing into a soundscape that is a dense, dark, murky abyss.'' - The Electroscape

''An abundance of aquatic sounds and dense drones feature prominently as one would expect, but what really brings the music to life are the guitar melodies that shimmer below the surface...'' - Stationary Travels

''Carefully constructed pieces of darkness, like swimming in the ocean and your eyes slowly adjusting to the light below the surface; there is more colour than you expected.'' - Vital Weekly

''It takes everything I like from the other TLB albums and plunges them into the sea. It’s as deep and drifting as one can imagine. I highly recommend it.'' - The Far Out Fox

''Absolutely gorgeous. Highly recommended.'' - Merveille du Jour

''The album feels dark in many ways, but not without hope or beauty.'' - Eric McLean, Unqualified Observations

''I cannot recommend it enough.'' - Heresiarch Reviews
